# Rydrea Walker

> Rydrea Walker is a Black, Deaf filmmaker and Founder & CEO of WarriorsGate Entertainment, Inc., a Deaf-led media company spanning film, television, sports, and streaming.

Walker is a Black, Deaf filmmaker from Alabama, salutatorian of the Alabama School for the Deaf's Class of 2015. He holds an AAS in Design and Imaging Technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology's National Technical Institute for the Deaf (2019) and has worked as a Video and Events Specialist at Communication Service for the Deaf since September 2023. In 2017 he rebranded his production company as WarriorsGate Entertainment, Inc., which now operates six divisions beneath Rydrea Legacy Holdings, LLC: WGE Studios, WGEPlus.tv, WGE Sports, SignedCredits, WarriorsGate Film Festival, and Rydrea Walker Studios.
